As a business, you might be using Google Sheets to record certain customer-specific events like new orders, bookings, appointments, etc. 

You might also need to send out automatic WhatsApp messages to your customers as soon as the record gets created in the sheet. The best part is, you can now do it very easily via Interakt. 

Steps to integrate Google Sheets with Interakt’s WhatsApp 

1. Login to your gmail account go to Google Sheets

2. Click on Extensions -> Get Add-ons

3. Search Interakt on the Extensions

4. Tap on the ‘WhatsApp sender- Jio Haptik Technologies Ltd’

5. Install ‘WhatsApp Sender’ on the specified sheet.

6. Once you’ve downloaded the Interakt App click on ‘Configure Account’ 

7. Proceed by clicking on ‘Next’.

8. Copy API Key from your Interakt account -> Developer Settings

9. Once you’ve connected it to your Interakt account, add details of the sheet required to connect.

10. Once done you’ll receive this message ‘Your Integration is Live!’ and the name of the event synced with your Interakt account will be shown.

11. Now as you start adding contacts it will initiate creating records on your WhatsApp Business Account shown in the right hand side of the below screenshot.

12. On the sheet make sure to add ‘Country Code’ and ‘Phone Number’ of contacts in separate columns

13. Signup to Interakt if you don’t have an Interakt account yet.

Note: You won’t be able to work with this extension if your phone number is not connected to your Interakt account.
