What is a Pipeline?
A Pipeline is like a checklist or a path that your customers follow before making a purchase or completing a goal.
Each pipeline is broken down into stages, like:
– New Lead
– Demo Booked
– Negotiation
– Closed Won
Example:
If you’re running a bakery that also does bulk orders, your pipeline stages might look like:
1. New Inquiry
2. Shared Price Quote
3. Sample Sent
4. Order Confirmed
5. Order Delivered
You can create multiple pipelines too—for Sales, Partnerships, Events, or anything you’re tracking!
Why are Pipelines Important
Knowing where a contact stands in a pipeline helps you:
1. Decide what to say in your next message
2.Follow up at the right time
3. Avoid dropping the ball on warm leads
4. Stay organized and focused
Where You Can See a Contact’s Pipeline
Go to any Contact’s Hub Page. On the right-hand Side Panel, you’ll now see a section called Pipelines.
Here’s what you’ll find:
-A list of all pipelines the contact is part of
-The exact stage they’re in, inside each pipeline
-You can also change the pipeline for your leads from the Contact Hub Page.
Example
Let’s say your contact, Dhananjay, is:
In the Sales Pipeline at the New Lead stage
Access Permissions
If you don’t have access to a specific pipeline, you won’t see it in the list, even if the contact is in it.
This ensures each agent only sees the info that’s relevant to them.
One-Click Navigation
Click on any pipeline name shown, and it will:
– Open the exact pipeline and stage in a new browser tab
-So you can manage or view the full details there, without losing your place
