By Integrating Wafeq, Interakt merchants can Create/Update Invoice on Wafeq and then send them across to their end customers.

– Once the invoice is created or updated, it can be retrieved from Wafeq and sent to customers through Interakt

– Using Interakt’s WhatsApp capabilities, invoices can be sent as PDF attachments, providing a professional and user-friendly customer experience.

What are the steps for Integrating Wafeq with Interakt Account

This document outlines the steps to integrate the Wafeq Payment Gateway with your Interakt account. Follow the instructions carefully to ensure a seamless setup and enable payment processing through your system.

Note: Follow below steps after Purchasing the Wafeq Add-on

1. Navigate to the integration section of your Interakt account. Locate the Wafeq app card and click on “Connect to Interakt.”

2. Click on “Set up” to get redirected to the Workflow page

3. Select the Workflow Template and Install the same

4. Once Workflow is installed, click on “Edit Settings” and authenticate both the apps (Wafeq and Interakt)

How to fetch API keys?

– Wafeq: Your API key can be found by clicking on the Developer section on the left-side menu and then selecting the API keys module.

– Interakt: Your Secret Key can be found here

5. Once the accounts are authenticated and connected, click on Flow Configuration and Map the required fields as shown in the screenshot below

– Template Name (mandatory): Select the Template name from the list of your templates present on Interakt that you would want to send to your customers 

– Campaign Name (mandatory): Enter your desired Campaign name so that you can track the status of these Templates sent on Interakt Notification section

– Phone Number-Country code or Full Phone Number: Map either of the phone number & country code OR Full phone number field as per how the details are being saved on your Wafeq account. Select “phone” from the Wafeq dropdown options

– Body Values (if any): In case the template selected by you has some variables, you can map the desired values accordingly like Name, Date of invoice, Invoice URL etc.

– Header Values (if any): In case you would like to send Wafeq Invoice as a document via WhatsApp, you can map the Invoice field (found in Notes) in the header value.

Note: Ensure your Template selected has header value set as DOCUMENT

6. Once the Flow is Configured, hit “Activate” to get the Workflow Live.

To test the Workflow, simply go to your Wafeq account and Create an Invoice and wait for the Template (syncs every 5mins) to be received on your WhatsApp number
